DIPLOMA IN CULINARY ARTS (MQA FA5415)

The Diploma in Culinary Arts offers an opportunity for students as well as working professionals to meet the requirements of professional bodies while giving students a competitive edge. This course is designed for a balanced focus on practical and entrepreneurship skills in the areas of culinary and service operations. This course also will emphasize personal and soft skills development to prepare students for a rewarding career. The students will pick their career options in the hospitality and tourism industry. For example, they can choose to be a Professional Chef, Catering Manager, Restaurant, Food Consultant, or even start their own F&B businesses.

Entry Requirements:

  • SPM 3 credits in any subjects; or
  • GCE/ O Level 3 credits in any subjects; or
  • UEC 3 subjects with grade B; or
  • Certificate in the relevant fields from recognised institution by the government of Malaysia with PNGK/CGPA 2.00; or
  • Other equivalent qualifications as recognized by the government of Malaysia
